Last night I began the tear-down of the ’69 Mustang. While Ethan was asleep, I worked in the garage while Phaedrah got most of the Christmas decorations put away.
Being this is my first “Ford project”, I’m having fun noting the differences from General Motors stuff. In some ways, it’s much easier to take apart.
The old phaedrah.com & briandowney.net have been destroyed, and a WordPress blog has been placed in its stead. Not that I didn’t like writing my own blog software, but I figured it was kind of pointless when much better alternatives already existed. Also, using it is much nicer and perhaps that will entice us to post more as well.
I’ve kept the old database around since it contains about two and a half years worth of news and comments. Perhaps there’s a way to import them into WordPress, but that’ll be a task to tackle later.
So, with that welcome to our new site. The Gallery will be back along with the rest of the old left-menu links before too long.
